Japan Adventure’s and Chocolate

It’s the CULTURE. Breathing the air. The Chocolate. It’s Japan.

I just looked and only 1 small square of sweet chocolate from Japan is left.
It sparked so many fun thoughts after noticing, only one piece is left.
I might never eat it.
It might be the link, that brings Japan’s memories back to life.
Even as I write these notes, I remember walking down the streets in Kyoto, Tokyo, Takayama and all the wonderful city’s of Japan.
Feeling the culture all around, I fit in (somewhat), felt comfortable, loved it when people spoke to me in Japanese, even though I could not understand them (maybe some words).
I sure tried to learn the language, learn the characters (Kanji), feel the air (Big expression in japan).
So back to that little square of chocolate, Wow, its sparking all the experiences, all the people I meet.
I am smiling, thinking of the time in the subway, we were jammed in so tight.
Most people were playing games on their phones, I was trying to figure out if I was going in the right direction, trying to figure out the characters, even trying to write them on my cell phone.
Usually, I would write the character “Kanji” incorrectly, and surprisingly, it would mean the opposite of what I thought.

I have arranged a Japan adventure tour for October 2nd.
To visit all the places that a local (In Japan) would take their friends.
This is not your average tour.
Lots of excitement and fun.
No tattoos allowed, weird to have that exclusion.
Eating lots of ramen, and stopping in places that would only seat 4-6 people.
Eating things, I could not identify.
Taking pictures with store owners, girls dressed as cats and guys dressed as warriors.

One of the Best experiences we had, was staying in homes (residential areas), it really immerses you into feeling the local culture.
Our first place was across the street from a preschool.
So Kawaii (Cute), these kids can ride unicycles!
You’re not finding that on a tour, anywhere.

Take note “tour guides”, look what I am writing about, not the exquisite Temples or Shrines. (They are Wonderful).
It’s the CULTURE. Breathing the air. The Chocolate.

Join us in October, breath the air of Japan.

Japanese etiquette is one of the curious and signature qualities of the country’s culture. The Japanese have emphasized politeness and honor since feudal times. If you look up the words politeness and courtesy in a Japanese dictionary, you’ll find an image of the Japanese islands next to the terms. When making a purchase, don’t be surprised when you are expected to place your cash or credit card in a shallow tray.
